I have upgraded the back protection by replacing with a karpofly x-alps full length inflatable back protctor. This is the most effective back protector on the market, aswell as being extremely light with a tiny packing volume.

This excellent lightweight pod harness is structurally very similar to the Advance Lightness but is in my opinion a very improved version for a number of reasons. Unfortunately Nearbirds is relatively new and not a very well known brand, which is why it’s high quality products are often unknown to the masses.
Features:
-Weighs only 2.4kg!!!
-Has 15cm foam protection + airbag (most other lightweight pod harnesses don’t have foam)
-Has a large rear pouch for storing rucksack and other gear, providing also additional protection
-Has extra space under the seat for ballast, storage (in-flight sandwich?), allowing better weight distribution.
-Foam padding on the T-lock leg straps making take-off comfortable unlike most other lightweight harnesses.
-Has an adjustable chest strap unlike the Advance lightness.
-Is very stable allowing the pilot to sit upright with legs tucked under in case of a collapse or stall.
-Front reserve container is also a cockpit with space for instruments.
-Air intake can be partly detached and flattened to avoid damage during transport.

This harness was purchased a few years ago new but was the wrong size (it a XL and I needed a large) and has only been used a couple of times,
It is still one of the best and safest airbag harness made and built to last (unlike some)

Fos sale: Sup’air Delight pod Harness size L. Bought this harness from Brighton Freeflight in 2012. It had been used by Rob as a review harness and had only 5 hrs logged in it. Since then I have unfortunately been unable to do as much flying as hoped and have added a maximum of 10 hrs (more like 5 in reality) since I bought it. Here im selling my Advance Impress 2+ Large harness, this is the later harness with the added back protection. . Due to back problems through work im switching to a lightweight setup. Bought brand new in late 2012 but have not flown since early 2013. All my gear has always been kept upstairs in a warm dry spare room. Manuals included.
(Also selling a Skyline XL reserve up to 140 kg weight range. year 2008 but bought brand new in 2010 never thrown in anger and repacked/checked each year of use. All paperwork and certs provided.)
